Troubleshooting
Solutions to common issues you might encounter while using the WhatsApp Sales Agent.
Agent Not Responding to Messages
If the agent stops responding, first check that the agent status is set to “Active” in your dashboard. Then verify your WhatsApp Business API connection is still valid by checking the integration status page. If the issue persists, try disconnecting and reconnecting your WhatsApp Business account.
WhatsApp Business API Connection Errors
Connection errors typically occur when your Meta access token has expired or been revoked. Navigate to your Meta Business account settings, verify your WhatsApp Business API credentials are still valid, and reconnect if necessary. Ensure your Meta developer account is in good standing.
Webhook Configuration Issues
Webhooks are essential for real-time message delivery. If webhooks are not configured correctly, the agent may not receive incoming messages. Verify your webhook URL is correctly set in the Meta Developer Console and that your server is accepting HTTPS connections. Check webhook logs for any error responses.
Agent Giving Incorrect Responses
If the agent provides inaccurate information, review your product catalog data for errors or outdated entries. Check the agent’s configuration settings to ensure the sales scripts and response templates are correctly defined. You can also retrain the agent on your specific product catalog for improved accuracy.
Slow Response Times
Slow responses can be caused by high message volume or network latency. Check your dashboard for current conversation volume. If response times are consistently slow, ensure your server infrastructure meets the recommended specifications. Contact support if the issue persists during normal traffic levels.
